I use Ecover laundry powder to do my washing. However, I do use the washing machine and tumble dryer (in the winter time). I am a member of an organic box scheme. The vegetables are delivered once a week to my local green grocer. I just cycle down late on Thursday afternoon and pick them up. I usually get some potatoes and carrots plus a random selection of other seasonal veg. So far I've had red cabbage, sweet potatoes, onions, parsnip, spring greens, purple sprouting broccoli, mushrooms, and some various salads. For more information see Maple Farm.
