I often travel by bus. I am fortunate to be in receipt of Disability Living Allowance which means I get a free bus pass for travel all over Suffolk. For longer journeys I prefer train, Ipswich to London, for example. And finally, I have a bicycle which is a trusted friend and allows me to travel all over the shop. It is some years now since I have flown anywhere (except in my dreams, without the aid of an aeroplane). I have been asked to go on holiday, but much to the consternation of my friends and family, refuse to go by plane. So what about getting to France for a ski trip to Les Alps?

Well, I've opted to go by car with my Aunt, Uncle and cousin.  We will drive to the South Coast, catch the Eurotunnel and then drive on the the Alps.  Although, I would have preferred to travel by coach or train, the costs were prohibitive and it will be more fun with my family.
