am a lone parent and live in Spennymoor Co Durham with my son, Daniel, who is 15 years old, is officially classed as special needs/disabled due to behavioral problems and diagnosed ADHD. He is on medication, and attends a special needs school.   Due to this, I don't work as I'm a full time carer for him, and we live on benefits.   Approximately 3 months ago we used some savings that his grandmother had for him to purchase a motocross bike, as he was very keen on the idea of taking up motocross.    In the last three months his school work and general behaviour has been excellent, and the school have commented on this dramatic turnaround, which can only be due to the motocross. He is also learning the discipline needed, and is beginning to conduct himself in a very adult like manner, having seen other lads of his age, and the dedication and training they put into it.   Unfortunately, we have a very limited budget, all of which is going on racing at the moment, and we are finding it increasingly difficult. Daniel himself is looking for Part Time work at the moment to assist, but this is proving difficult due to his age.   I am now looking at other ways of funding his racing, to see if there is any help available.   I am in the process of applying for a grant from the County Durham Foundation and also Spennymoor Town Council in the form of a S137 Grant.   I have also contacted numerous business and companies both locally and nationally looking for assistance, and have one sponsor on board already, mxbits.com   It has been suggested that in order to raise Daniels profile, a website should be set up, detailing his achievements and racing history, in order for any potential sponsors to `get a feel` for what they may be investing in. I know mxbits.com would find this very useful for pointing his suppliers to, when approaching them on Daniels behalf.   Is there any assistance you can provide to enable a website to be set up for Daniel and further aid his promotion with regard to funding?   Any help you can give on this matter would be greatly appreciated.   Many Thanks,
