Kim welcomes you all to The Sekforde Tap Freehouse, where you can come and enjoy a drink or meal in a cosy atmosphere where  a  warm welcome awaits you. Formerly the Thomas seckford, and The Seckford arms, the pub is situated in Seckford street Woodbridge next to the historic almshouses and opposite the beautiful Fen meadow, 50 yards off the market square, by car just down the road from The Seal.

After being closed for over a year the pub has reopened as The Sekforde Tap Freehouse, it has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard, a typical old fashioned pub with the floor boards exposed, and the settles and pews in place to allow folk to socialise and chat.

We serve a minium of 8 Cask ales in tip top condition and a choice of ciders and lagers along with guiness etc, a good range of bottle ales are always available and a selection of wines from around the world. we also have a cocktail and shots menu.  there is plenty of room for people socialising or colleagues to sit and have a peaceful drink or meal. The pub has 3 small front bars,and a 4th room that has a new pool table, and a 5th room that sits about 20 people, this room is ideal for meetings etc,th small bar at the front hosts a large plasma screen tv which shows sports events when they are on and a dart board,  there is a small garden to the rear of the pub with a large canopy over the tables and has a bbq for the nicer days, and in the winter hosts a log fire to sit round and keep warm. We reckon wehave the best toilets in Woodbridge ane they are on the ground floor.

If you prefer you can sit on one of the tables to the front of the pub under an umbrella in the sun, it is the perfect place to relax and look out over the meadows, and also allows the smokers some where pleasant to sit and have a cigarette.

Kim has been in the trade for over 33 years and The Sekforde Tap features in the good beer guide, Dogs are welcome at the pub with well behaved parents. We hold a quiz night every Wednesday evening with a buffet at the end. music every other Saturday night. There are menus on the tables from local Indian restaurants and pizzas etc, you can order from these menus and get an extra 15% off, have it delivered and we will supply the plates and cuttlery, so you can make a night of it.
